Application permissions and third-party SDK instructions

Application privileges

App may need to apply for permission to use the following mobile system features while you are using ABB Community App. You can set paths for Andriod and IOS systems respectively:

Andriod devices: These capabilities can be set through Settings - Applications and Services - ABB Community - Permissions.

IOS Devices: These functions can be set through Settings - ABB Community - Permissions.

App requests to use the following seven system function privileges:

(1) Notification function
In order to make it easy for you to get information such as property private messages, announcements, door entry equipment calls and so on for the first time on your mobile phone, we use Aurora Push, Huawei Push, Millet Push, Vivo Push, Oppo Push, Glamour Push. This feature captures your device information (Unique Device Identification Number. Hardware Serial Number), network information and location information.

(2) Positioning function
To help you select the nearest community when you apply for key permissions, App displays a list of communities based on distance. In addition, the positioning function is required for Bluetooth search when opening the Bluetooth door on the android app. This function will get your location information.

(3) Camera function
App needs to take photos with a mobile phone camera in order to quickly collect faces and set up avatars. In addition, during video calls, we also need to turn on the camera. This feature requires access to the camera.

(4) Album function
To help you quickly collect faces and set up avatars, App needs to display photos through a mobile photo album. This feature requires access to the album.

(5) Bluetooth function
In order to make it easier for you to use the open door function offline, App will use Bluetooth to open the door. This feature requires access to Bluetooth.

(6) Microphone function
App needs to use the device's microphone function in order for you to talk to the door entry equipment normally when receiving calls. This function requires access to the microphone.

(7) Get a list of Apps - Andriod only
To make it easy for you to quickly enter different mobile brand app markets for App updates, we need to get a list of apps. This list is only used for App upgrades to jump to the app store App of the appropriate brand.

(8)File reading and writing function - Andriod only
In order to enable you to use related functions such as avatar upload, visitor invitation picture sharing and face picture upload, we need to call the file read-write permission of your device.

2. Instructions for the use of third-party SDKs

In certain usage scenarios, we may use a software service toolkit (SDK) or other similar application provided by a third-party service provider with the appropriate business qualifications and capabilities to serve you, and the third-party service provider may collect the necessary information from you. We will carefully conduct a comprehensive assessment of the security capabilities of these partners and require them to comply with the cooperative legal agreement. We will strictly monitor the security of our partners' software tool development kits (SDKs) and application interfaces (APIs) for information security. The cases involving embedding third-party SDKs are itemized as follows:

I.EngageLab Push

SDK Name: EngageLab Push

Use purpose: message push

Use scenario: Provide timely and accurate push service, and be able to notify users at the first time when they have relevant reminder information. Reminders include reminders for key application process updates, account sign-in from another location, and door entry equipment calls.

Data type: device attribute information (hardware model, operating system version, device configuration, unique device identifier, international mobile device ID IMEI, network device hardware address MAC), device location information (such as location information obtained from GPS, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signals), device connection information (browser type, telecommunication operator, language used) and device status information. Network information, phone number.

II.Baidu Map

SDK Name: Baidu Map

Purpose: To get the location of the device and show the user a list of the nearest neighborhoods

Scenario: Show a list of the nearest neighborhoods when a user requests a key

Data type: Longitude and latitude information.

III. WeChat SDK - IOS only

SDK name: WechatOpenSDK

Purpose: To share the open-door QR code to the micro-message.

Scenario: After the user generates the invitation QR code, it can be shared with WeChat friends.

IV. Firebase Cloud Messaging

SDK Name: Firebase Cloud Messaging

Purpose: It is used to implement the message push function

Scenario: Provide timely and accurate push service, when the user has relevant reminder information, it can notify the user at the first time. Reminders include key application process update, account remote login and door machine call reminders.

Data type: Device attribute (device configuration), unique device identifier (International Mobile Device Identity Code IMEI, IDFA, Android ID, IMSI, MAC, OAID, Firebase installation ID), device parameters and system information (device type, device model, operating system version, and hardware), application information (app crash information, notification switch status, software list information), device location (such as location via GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi signals), device connection information (browser type, power Information about the operator, the language used) as well as device status, network information (IP address, Wi-Fi information, base station information), phone number.
